How AccuRank is Used
After setting up your account, you’ll be prompted to fill out a form with basic information about the domain you want to monitor.

Long-Tail Keyword:
If a keyword isn’t moving traffic to your website, then you don’t have to focus on it. If a keyword is sending some but not a lot of traffic to your website, then you can narrow in on that keyword and see if it can work as a long-tail keyword.
A long-tail keyword is a keyword that’s searched for less often but is more specific. By virtue of a long-tail keyword’s specificity, the person conducting the search is more likely to convert into a sale or spend considerable time on your website. By making a low-traffic keyword into a long-tail keyword, you may be able to discover leads or traffic that you were otherwise missing.
Featured Snippet Monitoring:
AccuRanker lets you know when one of your pages is a candidate for being a featured snippet (the presence of a small icon will alert you). This way you can optimize your page to get into that snippet! A featured snippet can result in moving traffic significantly to your domain.
Go Local:
For small businesses, being able to track keywords based on geography is indispensable. It’s also very useful to be able to see when your company is on the verge of being in the local pack on Google, the three local businesses that are rich snippets right under the Google Map near a particular location.
Identify Threats and Opportunities:
If your average rank for a keyword is dropping, then that’s an indicator that something is going on! You don’t want to quickly lose traffic, so being able to see changes quickly is important. Similarly, if a keyword improves, it may be an opportunity to make some positive changes.
AccuRank Pricing
You get a free two-week trial that requires only email verification (no credit card information). If you sign up by the year, you end up paying 10% less for every month. So, 1,000 keywords is $109 per month or $99 per month for a yearly plan, 2,000 keywords is $189 per month for a yearly plan vs $209 per month on a month-to-month basis, and so on.
Unlike services Keywords Everywhere, you are not charged every time a keyword is analyzed. Instead, a subscription for 1,000 keywords lets you track upwards of 1,000 keywords. This is an important distinction because in a credit-based system like Keywords Everywhere, you could eat up your 1,000 keyword subscription very quickly! Just one bulk check of 1,000 keywords could be all it takes, four checks of 250 different keywords, 10 checks of 100 different keywords, and so on.
Bottom Line

Given how important keyword ranking is, a tool like AccuRanker is indispensable. SEO suites like Ahrefs and SEMrush already offer rank tracking, but not all rank trackers are equal.
Ahrefs doesn’t offer an on-demand rank checking. How often and how many keywords Ahrefs can update for is contingent upon your subscription plan, but even the best option Ahrefs has is an update every 3 days.
SEMrush offers on-demand updates, but there are caps to the number of keywords you can track. If you’re a big enough SEO agency, pay per click media agency, or social media marketing firm, then you may run up against the limits of SEMrush.
At the end of the day, whether or not to get SEMrush, Ahrefs, and/or AccuRanker depends on the size of your company and your needs. AccuRanker is a great way to augment your agency with powerful keyword tracking.
